Of course you can incorporate drawings, digital photos, and other images into MobileEyes software.
Consider this true story submitted by one of our customers—we’ll call it “Building safety improvement on the fly!”
We just resolved a major building egress issue that was the result of an architectural oversight by:
- pasting an existing PDF drawing of the area into SmartDraw
- dropping doors, fire panels, etc. onto the document
- creating alternate paths to existing doors not shown on the drawing
- compelling the architect to amend the design drawing to reflect our needs
- using MobileEyes to create a deficiency report with the actual code violations, including the code references, wording, and required corrective action.
…all of this was done in the lobby of the building!
Last evening I received a very nice email from the Manager of Environmental Health and Safety commending me for intervening on behalf of the safety of the building occupants, and resolving the issue so quickly.
